Environments

Much like with your editor, we allow developers to use whatever local environment suits them the best. As long as they can run multiple PHP versions and turn PHP extensions on and off as they need it then we’re happy. Again, some that we like are:

• MAMP Pro - One Computer - multiple Servers
• Trellis - WordPress development and production servers done right
• Laravel Homestead - Pre-packaged Vagrant box made for Laravel but works with other platforms well too
• VVV - VVV is an open source local development environment focused on WordPress, powered by Vagrant.
